App, Whatsapp for tracing lost mobiles in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 20: Jamshedpur Police is constantly working towards getting the lost mobile phones back to their owners. To make it more simple, the district police has issued a mobile app and a WhatsApp helpline number to file a report on missing mobile. Through which the report of missing mobile can be filed online.

On Thursday, a program was organized in this regard in Bistupur police station premises. In which 157 lost mobiles were returned to their owners. Meanwhile, the app and WhatsApp helpline number were also launched. Now anyone can directly send a message to 9006123444 to register the report of his lost mobile and there will be no need to go to the police station for this purpose.

District SSP Prabhat Kumar told that till now Jamshedpur Police has recovered about 1200 missing mobile phones and out of them 800 mobile phones have been handed over to their owners through such camps. After the launch of this online method, any person can register a report of his missing mobile even from the mobile of an acquaintance, which will reach the police directly and the police should immediately start the work of finding their lost mobile.
