Jamshedpur, Sept 16: On the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, Seva Samarpan Abhiyan (service dedication campaign) a three week BJP programme dedicated to the Prime Minister will commence in Jamshedpur Mahanagar. The campaign will run from September 17 to October 7 across the city.
Social service programmes will be undertaken in all the 28 Mahanagar blocks. These programmes include organizing mega vaccination camps, sports, cleanliness campaigns, tree plantation, inoitiatives for respect towards women, blood donation camps, cleaning rivers, cleaning statues of great personalities, health awareness seminars, public awareness for widespread use of indigenous products and centers under self-reliant India scheme.
District President Gunjan Yadav reviewed the programmes planned for the three week long Seva Samarpan Abhiyan at a meeting of party executives at the district office. Gunjan said that on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on Friday, September 17, party workers will visit Vishwakarma Puja pandals and pay obeisance to the deity and the priests. “On the auspicious occasion of Karma Puja organized by BJP ST Morcha, the Pahan (priest) will be offered reverence and in the evening, by Maha Arti will be performed for good health and long life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said. Booth level responsibilities for ensuring the success of Seva Samarpan Abhiyan were distributed in the course of the meeting. District President Gunjan Yadav informed that a one-day exhibition has been organized in the district office on the personality, work and achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
