Jamshedpur, Oct 4: Inner wheel Club of Jamshedpur organized an informative session at Jamshedpur Women�s College (JWC).
Renowned neurosurgeon of the city Dr. Fatehbahadur Singh addressed the students, Principal, teachers and the members of the club – about migraine and the problems related to it.
President of the club Shweta Chand welcomed Dr. Fatehbahadur Singh, Principal, teachers and the students.
Dr. Fatehbahadur informed that migraine is a hereditary disease and talked about its causes and prevention.
He informed about the dangerous effects of using mobile phone for a longer period of time. Regular exercise can reduce the frequency and intensity of migraines.
Despite being one of the most common disabling primary headaches, migraine continues to be under-diagnosed and under-treated, Dr. Singh added.
It was a very enlightening and educative session followed by a question and answers session in which the students and other audience clarified their doubts and myths.
The session was attended by around 100 students apart from the Principal of the college Dr. Purnima Kumar, teachers and members of the club including Pasam Adesara, Dr.Manju Rani Singh, Vandana, Neeta, Richa, Vinita, Priya & Babita
