Jamshedpur:�A Hobby a day keeps doldrums away� seemed to be the catch phrase at the SDSM School for Excellence that organized the first �Ek Shaam Hobby Ke Naam� on February 8, 2019. The event proved to be an embellishment of various of various hobbies and talents of the students.
The programme was inaugurated by Principal, Mrs. Moushumi Das. The hobbies comprising football, volleyball, archery, cookery, art and craft, interesting pursuits followed at the Eco and Science clubs, sculpture, Chess and Mathematics, Readers� and SAFE clubs, yoga, western music, guitar, taekwondo, Scouts and Guides, dance, drama, music and the Maths and Science and General Knowledge quiz proved to be scene stalers.
Vice-Principal, Ragini Singh inaugurated the Sports event in Group-A, Principal Moushumi Das thanked the organizing team, the Junior School Coordinator, Subject Coordinators along with the respective hobby teachers for their dedication towards the assigned hobbies.
The proud parents of the participating students were also present. The event concluded with the school song followed by National Anthem.
