Ex-soldiers to purchase diyas from School of Hope

Jamshedpur: Former soldiers will celebrate the festival of lights this year by lighting up the diyas (earthen pots) prepared by the special children of School of Hope, Jamshedpur. Members of Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad led by the outfit president P Shankar visited School of Hope and spent some time with the special children. They took a pledge to purchase diyas and candles prepared by these children on the occasion of Deepawali. They said the association of ex-soldiers with the special children would continue in the days to come. They further said that they would spend some time with the special children along with their families in the month of December this year.
Among others who visited the School of Hope included Ramesh Sharma, Avdhesh Kumar, Krishna Mohan Singh, Rajesh Pandey, Sukhvinder Singh, Birju and Shatrughan Prasad.
