Ex-servicemen pay tribute to martyr Albert Ekka

Jamshedpur, Dec 3: Members of Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad, Jharkhand, paid rich tributes to Param Vir Chakra awardee martyr Lance Nayak Albert Ekka on the occasion of his 51st death anniversary on Saturday. They visited his native village of Jari in Gumla district and observed the day as Balidan Diwas (Sacrifice Day). They recounted the various instances of bravery shown by late Ekka. The outfit founder Varun Kumar said Ekka had ensured victory for the Indian army in the Ganga Sagar war zone through his sheer bravery.

The outfit members present on the occasion included state president Colonel Akhauri Ranjan Sinha, state vice president Rajesh Pandey and general secretary Akhilesh Mishra. Altogether 30 ex-servicemen were present during the programme.
