Jamshedpur, April 14: The Akhil Bharatiya Purv Sainik Seva Parishad (ABPSSP), Jamshedpur, commemorated Moirang Day by paying homage to Subhas Chandra Bose and the valiant heroes of the Azad Hind Fauj. The event honoured the courage and gallantry of the Azad Hind Fauj, recalling its remarkable journey from inception to their fighters’ bravery.

The program commenced with floral tributes to Netaji Subhas and Bharat Mata’s portraits, followed by a two-minute silence in memory of the brave Colonel Shaukat Ali and the Moirang fighters. Moirang Day marks the historic moment when the Azad Hind Fauj, led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, bravely set foot on Indian soil, symbolized by the hoisting of the tricolor at Moirang Post.
The ABPSSP delegation paid heartfelt tributes to these courageous soldiers. Additionally, new members, including Subedar Madan Kumar, Lance Naik Shiv Kumar, and Sergeant Shri Chand Prasad, were honored during the event.
