Jamshedpur, Oct. 22: Itís been seven decades since India got its independence but Adivasi dominated Gadra village near steel city is yet to get a concrete road.
From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jharkhand chief secretary Rajbala Verma had ordered rural road construction to connect every village to the cities.
But till date has been seen on the ground and the truth is that the road considered as a lifeline which connects Gadra to Goradih is blaming the government officers and public representatives for the plight.
On the other hand, the Public representatives in the villages blame the indifference in official claims and the actual situation of the village speaks about the failure of government machinery.
There is no place where we should go with the complaints as there is no one to listen.
Deputy head of the village, Birju Patro, says, enough is enough, many powerful public representatives and others have been misleading the people and today I feel that I have been duped.
This road is considered as the life line but no one till date has taken the right initiative which has resulted in the current situation.
On Friday, a memorandum was submitted to DC and was apprised of the situation.
If no action is taken within one week then all the public representatives and villagers will invite the chief minister upon his arrival in Jamshedpur and will inform him about the condition.
If CM Raghubar Das doesnít give assurance about the construction of the road then all the public representatives will do anything possible and launch massive protests so that the road is constructed, added Birju Patro.
