Educated youths should protect human rights: Lalit Das

Ranchi, October 22: Institute for social development and research organisation, Ranchi inaugurated the three-day 10th international seminar on Human Rights.

The seminar was inaugurated by convener of �Samarpan� Lalit Das. Addressing the gathering, Das said, our constitution has given us guarantee for human rights.

Human rights commission at the centre and state level is involved in the protection of human rights but due to illiteracy and ill awareness results in human rights violation everyday.

He further said that its is the morale responsibility of educated youths to come forward for protection of the rights and people in the society can lead a normal life with their rights. The inaugural session was presided over by President of the institute Dr. Medha vati Arya.

He presented the development work being carried out by the organisation and future plans. Earlier, vice-president of the institute Dr. Ganga Kumar welcomed the guests.

Convener of the seminar Dr. Dhirendra Tripathi extended the vote of thanks. At the international seminar 165 teachers, researchers and social workers from India and abroad will participate.

On the occasion Dr. Uday Narayan Singh, Dr. Surendra Singh, Amarnath Sharma, Dr. Rekha Srivastava, Dr. Saroj along with Samarpan Neeraj, Sanjeev Nayak, Deepak Singh, Gyan Singh, Pradeep, Ritesh Dutta and locals in large numbers were present.
