Jamshedpur: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and RSB Global Plant 1, Gamharia, organized a special awareness session on Saturday as part of the 74th ESIC Foundation Day and Special Service Fortnight, observed from February 24 to March 10.
The session, attended by more than 500 workers, aimed to enhance awareness about ESIC services and strengthen coordination between employers and employees. ESIC Commissioner Pranay Sinha, Regional Director Rajiv Ranjan, and senior officials Abhishek Kumar and Sanjay Kumar addressed the gathering in the presence of the HR department and senior leadership of RSB Global.
Sinha acknowledged RSB Global as a key partner, with over 3,000 employees insured under the ESIC scheme. He highlighted ESIC’s efforts to improve healthcare services and announced plans to establish a medical college in Ranchi to enhance medical facilities for insured workers and their families.
As part of the foundation day celebrations, ESIC is conducting various initiatives, including preventive health check-up camps, cleanliness drives, awareness programs, and special campaigns to ensure medical equipment functionality. Efforts are also being made to expedite the settlement of pending claims and bills.
RSB Global’s HR team and senior leadership expressed gratitude to ESIC officials and reaffirmed their commitment to employee welfare. They emphasized continued collaboration with ESIC to improve healthcare services for workers.
The session provided a platform for constructive dialogue, reinforcing the shared commitment of ESIC and RSB Global toward employee well-being.
