Chandil: World Environment Day was celebrated by members of Chandil Bandh Bisthapit Matsyajivi Svavalambi Sahkari Samiti at Chandil Dam on Thursday.
As many as 150 saplings of various fruit-bearing trees were planted on the occasion. Many people were present during the programme. Last year, 10,000 saplings were planted by the outfit.
