Jamshedpur, Aug. 3: SDSM School for Excellence has observed Environmental Day by organizing �Environ Quiz� on Wednesday, August 3.
The quiz was an intra-school activity in which 24 students four from each family participated. This quiz was organized for Std.VI-XII. Students represented their respective families.
The event was held in the school auditorium. The motive behind the event was to create awareness amongst the students about the environmental related problems like pollution and also to educate them to make optimum use of the natural resources.
The quiz master Ashish Ranjan from Std. IX-A conducted the program intelligently by asking questions related to environment. The teacher�s in-charge was Neelam Jha.
The program was witnessed by the vice-principal, teachers and students. The winner of the quiz was the Mountain Family with 120 points and Runner up was the Tree Family with 70 points.
