English story staging contest concludes at R.V.S. Academy

Jamshedpur: The auditorium of R.V.S. Academy came alive with creativity and performance as the school hosted its grand English Story Staging Competition. The event was graced by School Manager Binda Singh, Principal Visha Mohindra and Vice-Principal Pooja Suman.

The competition was divided into three categories for students from Classes VI to VIII, with two groups from each class participating. Class VI students staged The Lost Child and The Gift of Sacrifice, delivering impactful performances. Class VII students brought A Grain as Big as a Hen’s Egg and Eidgah to life with expressive acting and strong dialogue delivery. Class VIII took on the challenging themes of Macbeth and The Guide, portraying each character with emotional depth and precision.

The audience was captivated by the students’ remarkable acting skills, stage presence and dialogue coordination. Principal Visha Mohindra, in her address, said, “Such events nurture creativity, confidence and acting skills among students, which can prove invaluable for their future.”

Winners were honoured with certificates and the program concluded with the school song followed by the National Anthem, marking a memorable cultural celebration at R.V.S. Academy.
