Jamshedpur, May 15: Encroachment on railway land in the Sant Baba Mandir premises under Bagbeda police station was removed by officials on Monday. An argument between the people present and the railway officials occurred during the removal, but it had no effect on the railway officials. The officials removed the bamboo sticks planted in the field. The construction work was being done by surrounding the Sant Baba temple complex with bamboo poles.
Upon receiving information about the encroachment, the Land Department of Railway along with RPF reached the spot and successfully removed the encroachment. Shopkeepers who had set up on the spot were also ordered by the officials to remove their shops at the earliest. This incident highlights the ongoing issue of encroachment on railway land, which poses a significant problem for railway officials in managing and maintaining their property. Encroachment often results in the blocking of railway tracks and hindering of train operations, which can cause significant disruptions and delays. The removal of encroachment is necessary to ensure safe and efficient train travel for the public.
