Jamshedpur: Congress Minority Cell deputy chairman Nazrul Ansari said empowering the minorities is must for ensuring victory of the Congress party in the 2019 elections. He said the BJP could be defeated only if all senior Congress leaders work together in the larger interest of the party. In a press statement issued on Friday, Ansari said the party was working to unite the minorities against the BJP. He said he had met the state Congress in-charge RPN Singh, state Congress president Dr Ajoy Kumar, leader of Congress legislature party Alamgir Alam and others in Ranchi today.
