Employment to 30,000 youths in six months: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren

Rs 11,27,52, 91, 884 distributed among 28, 45, 759 beneficiaries in Santhal Pargana

Ranchi, December 8: Chief minister Hemant Soren assured to provide employment to 30,000 youth in the next six month. 

Addressing the Santhal Pargana division level asset distribution program and Apke Adhikar, Apke Sarkar and Apke Dwar program at Dumka on Wednesday, Hemant Soren said, that the government is working fast in the direction of providing employment to the youth of the state. For the first time, the appointment rules of various departments were made.
“In this, there is a system to give preference to tribals and natives in government jobs. At the same time, in private companies located in the state, arrangements have been made to give 75 percent jobs to the local people. Changes have been made in the Police Recruitment Rules. Now there will be physical examination first and then written. Within the coming 6 months, employment will be provided to 30 thousand people. Under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme, the government is giving loans up to Rs.25 lakh on subsidy for self-employment,” said Soren. 

 The chief minister said that 80 percent of the state’s population comes from rural areas. In such a situation, when the villages are strong, only then the block, district and state will become strong. For this purpose, action plans are being prepared according to the expectations, aspirations and needs of the people of the state. No one should be deprived of schemes related to public interest, The Sarkar Apke Dwar campaign is meant for this purpose where problems are resolved at panchayat level,” said Soren. 

The chief minister said that government is determined to bring Jharkhand among leading states of the country. 

“With the cooperation of people of the state, the development of the state is being accelerated. We are making such a system where there will be no crisis of livelihood in front of anyone and state would be among leading states of the country,” said Soren. 

The Chief Minister said that a new industry and incentive policy has been formulated to promote industrial investment in the state. This policy is getting a lot of appreciation from the industry and they are expressing their willingness to set up industries here. “It is our endeavor that more and more industries should be established here and the local people should get wide employment opportunities,” said Soren. 

The Chief Minister said that the government is taking all possible steps to promote and market the products being made by Mahila Mandals as it will make women self help groups strong and self-reliant. 

Assets were distributed among beneficiaries of six districts under Santhal Pargana division at the ceremony

The assets worth  Rs 3, 01,86, 49,071 were distributed among 3 lakh 24 thousand 998 beneficiaries of Dumka district, Rs 1, 77, 50, 36, 900 among 2 lakh 83 thousand 178 beneficiaries of Pakur district, 9 lakh from Godda district. Rs. 1, 68, 87, 97,300 and  Rs 1, 25, 04, 98, 368 among 23 thousand 652 beneficiaries of Jamtara district. In this way, assets worth Rs 11 billion 27 crore 52 lakh 91 thousand 884 were distributed among a total of 28 lakh 45 thousand 759 beneficiaries. Appointment letters were given to 1423 newly recruited personnel in the camp.
Chief Minister also released a Santhali magazine on the occasion.
