Employees demand payment of pending honorarium

Saraikela: The employees of the JK Trust run In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Centre for animals for the district of Saraikela-Kharsawan met the Animal Husbandry Department Officer Dr Dilip Kumar and handed him a letter of demand claiming payment of their honorariums kept on hold since March 2017. They mentioned that they were all educated youth and they were employed by the JK Trust on January 5, 2016. They specified that they had been receiving their honorarium every month but after 14 months, that is from March 2017, their funds were held up. They told the District Animal Husbandry Officer that they had been putting in sincere work at the IVF Centre but due to held up payments they were finding it immensely difficult to frnd for themselves and their families.

Dr Dilip Kumar said that the matter was very concerning and that he would take up the issue with the state government and seek a solution at an early date.
