Jamshedpur, Oct 18: Doctors of Tata Main Hospital (TMH) along with some from Kolkata and Bhubaneswar shared their knowledge and experiences at the 52nd half yearly conference organized by the Clinical Society of the hospital on Saturday.
On the occasion, Sangeeta Singhal, President of the Clinical Society and a senior doctor said, �We at TMH every week discuss the latest developments in the field of medicine and also on the disease. We also help improve knowledge by bringing in senior doctors� form other cities of the country and this year we called in two eminent speakers Dr. DS Roy from RNTIICS from Kolkata and Dr. Ibrar Ullah from Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar�.
Singhal further informed that the conference focused on the stomach diseases which are on the rise and how they can be cured endoscopically.
There are several infections by which people suffer either on their visit to the hospital and also the patients who spend more time during their treatment at the hospital, to help prevent the infection doctors shared their knowledge with the trainee doctors. Acute injury in kidney and how it can be cured were also discussed at the conference, added Dr. Singhal.
Dr. DP samaddar (CMIS TMH) spoke on isolation practices, Dr. Ashish Roy from West Bokaro shared light on headache in children while Dr. Bhajyalakshmi on Jaundice in pregnancy.
Earlier the event was inaugurated by Ruchi Narendran in the presence of Dr. G Ramadas, GM TMH, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. AB Balsara and Dr. Kailsash.
