Embezzlement of Rs 10 lakh detected in Jharkhand State Khadi Village Industries Board; Case registered

Ranchi: An embezzlement case involving Rs 10 lakh has been uncovered within the Jharkhand State Khadi Village Industries Board. Deendayal Sharma, an inspector at the Ranchi office, filed a written complaint about this incident at the Sukhdevnagar police station on Monday. The accused in this case is Vibhuti Kumar Rai, who serves as a Manager in the Jamshedpur branch. The misappropriation of funds occurred on four different occasions, which has been reported to the police. The Sukhdevnagar police station has registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched an investigation into the matter.

The financial irregularities transpired on three separate dates. The first withdrawal of Rs 5 lakh took place on April 19, 2014, followed by a second withdrawal of Rs 2 lakh on April 29, 2014. Finally, a third withdrawal of Rs 3 lakh occurred on April 28, 2014.
