Seraikela, April 8: In Seraikela-Kharsawan’s Chandil Chowk, a wild elephant killed a person who had gone for defecation on Saturday morning.
Raheen Munda (42), a resident of Balidih was trampled by the elephants.
According to the local people, like everyday, Raheen was going for defecation on Saturday as well. During this, a wild elephant separated from the herd trampled her to death. Her dead body was lying in the forest for a long time. After this, when the local people started searching for him, his body was found lying in the forest. At the same time, the local people informed the police and the forest department about this. After this the forest department took action and sent his dead body to Seraikela Sadar Hospital for postmortem. While taking further action, people have demanded compensation to his family members.
