Election duty directives given

Ranchi: The ordinary observer of Election Commission of India Sumati Lal Vohra today addressed the nodal officers of the various cells set up in the state for the conduct of elections and directed them to finish preparations for the same within deadline.

She said all sector officials should be alert and make sure that the voters get facilities like drinking water and toilet at the polling booths.

She also instructed other election officials of the state to keep vigil on election work and make sure that the polls are conducted peacefully.
