Ranchi: Election Commission (EC) has banned sending of bulk SMSes 48 hours before the conclusion of election in the state.
The second phase of polling will take place in Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Khunti, Singhbhum, Hazaribagh and Giridih Lok Sabha constituencies on 17th April.
The ban will be effective from 4 pm onwards on 15th April. The additional secretary Nandan has forwarded the order to all telecom companies in this regard.
