Ranchi: Eight persons were killed in a road accident in Bero police station area of Ranchi yesterday when a truck rammed into an auto-rickshaw near Jam Toli village of Bero on the National Highway connecting Ranchi and Gumla.
Five members of the marriage party were killed at the scene. Three others died during treatment in the hospital. Nine persons were injured in the mishap. They are under treatment at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science.
