Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the achievements of his government in the last four years. He said the well-planned development and welfare projects and schemes of the Central government had fueled speedy progress all over the country.
Mahato, speaking at a press meet in Bistupur on Monday, said the Modi government had completed four years of its journey by facing many challenges and removing numerous obstacles. At the end of four years, the government can now boast of an unprecedented growth rate which was never achieved by any other government so far, said Mahato.
The MP said the pace of development in Jharkhand was also much above the expectations of the people. He said the Raghubar Das led government in the state had achieved many a milestones till date. The various flagship projects and schemes of the Central government are being implemented at a fast pace in Jharkhand, he said.
Mahato said the government had linked youths to self-employment through skill India, Mudra scheme, startup and other effective schemes. The government wants to make the youths job creators instead of letting them be job seekers, he said, adding that the government was also committed to the development and welfare of farmers. The government has doubled agriculture budget and taken many steps for the benefit of farmers, said the MP.
Mahato said the government had increased the minimum support price (MSP) for paddy by Rs 200 per quintal. The government has taken a harsh stand on corruption in the country and stone-pelting in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.

Jamshedpur: District BJP president Dinesh Kumar said the Narendra Modi government had put an end to dynasty politics, casteism and politics of appeasement by starting a new era of ‘politics of performance and development’. He said during the UPA regime, scams used to occupy the headlines of newspapers. But now development news are seen everywhere, he said.
Kumar said the Central government had lived up to its motto of ‘sabka daath, sabka vikas’ by giving priority to villagers, under-privileged and backward classes, farmers, dalits, Adivasis, youths and women. All this has further bolstered people’s faith in the government, said Kumar.

Jamshedpur: District president (rural) of Bharatiya Janata Party Saroj Mahapatra on Monday said the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato helped bridge the gap between the government and the people. She said the MP was working as a strong link between the government and the rural masses. The MP helped open many closed mines which paved way for generation of employment opportunities.
