Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district education department is mulling over plans to bring in transparency in the admission process in private schools under BPL quota. Department sources said that advertisements would be floated for admission in the BPL quota seats of private schools. Applications would be invited for filling up the vacancies school-wise. The department is also planning to make the admission process online. The applications would be scrutinized by the education department and sent to the schools for admission. In a bid to get the consent of private schools, the district education department is soon going to hold a meeting with their principals.
In order to stop discrepancies in admissions, the schools have made Aadhar compulsory.
