ED to Interrogate Sahibganj SP Naushad Alam on Allegations of Assisting ED Witness in Illegal Mining Case

Ranchi: Sahibganj Superintendent of Police, Naushad Alam, is set to face interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team on Wednesday, November 22. Alam stands accused of facilitating a ticket for Vijay Hansda, a witness for the ED in an illegal mining case, to travel to Delhi.
The ED had issued summons to SP Naushad Alam on November 10, directing him to appear at the regional office in Hinnu, Ranchi for questioning. The allegations against Alam include instigating Vijay Hansda, a key witness in the illegal mining case in Sahibganj. Additionally, there are claims related to arranging a ticket for Hansda to travel to Delhi in the Pankaj Mishra vs. Vijay Hansda case.
