Jamshedpur: Following directives from the Jharkhand High Court, district administration officials conducted a joint inspection of the East Singhbhum district jail to evaluate inmate healthcare and ensure the facility complies with judicial guidelines.
Direct Judicial Oversight
Kumar Saurabh Tripathi, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), and Sahir Paul, Civil Surgeon of East Singhbhum, led the inspection. The visit fulfilled the High Court’s March 11, 2026, order regarding Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 372 of 2023, which district authorities received formally on March 16.
Strengthening Medical Infrastructure
