Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum District Carrom Association will organize a district-level Under-14 and Under-17 carrom tournament this April. The association reached this decision during a meeting held on Sunday at Tulsi Bhavan.
During the session, the committee honoured physical education teachers Supriya Dubey, Sneha, and Ekta Mandal to commemorate International Women’s Day. The association also formally inducted the three teachers into the District Carrom Committee.
Expanding Carrom Across the District
Members discussed several strategic plans to expand the reach of carrom throughout the district. Attendees included:

- Ajay Kumar Gupta, Patron
- Valmiki Singh, Vice President
Other key officials present were Joint Secretaries Arun Kumar and Kundan Kumar Chandra, alongside Suchinder Singh, Pradeep Mukherjee, Venugopal Rao, Manoj Singh, Iqbal Singh, Govind Mukhi, Neeraj Yadav, and Mo. Wasim.
