East Singhbhum DC thanks voters for showing enthusiasm, cooperation

Jamshedpur, May 13: Differently-abled or Divyang voters showed great enthusiasm during polls at Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat. Their voting percentage was recorded at 94.57. East Singhbhum district administration had made special arrangements for them. Volunteers comprising NSS members and representatives of various organizations along with Anganbari workers helped such voters reach polling booths conveniently and exercise their right to vote. Wheel chairs and ramps were arranged for such voters. East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner cum Returning Officer Amit Kumar thanked all voters, volunteers and polling duty personnel for helping the district administration hold the Parliamentary elections in a peaceful and hassle-free manner. He also praised all Divyang voters for registering huge turnout. He said the media had also played a crucial role in the peaceful conduct of polls.
