Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum District Congress Committee has been expanded following approval from Jharkhand state chief Keshav Mahto Kamlesh. This major organizational push, part of the “Organisation Building Campaign,” appoints 104 office bearers to key positions effective immediately.
The restructuring follows strategic guidelines from State In-charge K. Raju and Co-incharge Bhupendra Maravi. The new committee prioritizes youth and diversity, with over half the members under the age of 45.
Key Appointments
- Working Presidents: Shivnath Mandi and Avdhesh Kumar Singh.
- Vice Presidents: A team of 10 leaders, including Sanjay Singh Azad and Jaswant Singh Jassi.
- Secretaries & General Secretaries: Dozens of active workers, including Sunita Ojha and Avinash Singh, will oversee specific operational areas.

District President Parvinder Singh directed all appointees to discharge their duties with integrity and submit regular progress reports. He emphasized that the committee reflects a balanced social representation designed to strengthen the party’s grassroots engagement. Singh also assured active workers currently left out that the party will soon accommodate them in various auxiliary wings and forums.
