DC, SSP and other motivators inform students about career options

Jamshedpur, June 22: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Saturday praised the students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya for their good performance in academics. He was speaking as the chief guest at a career guidance workshop organized for the successful class 12 Board examinees at Michael John auditorium, Bistupur.
Kumar advised the students to get training at the skill development centre of East Singhbhum. He said the centre has residential facility for 750 girl students. He said 15,000 youths had got employment through the skill development centre. Majority of the students are from remote rural areas.

Also present on the occasion, SSP Anoop Birtharay said the students have a sea of opportunities after passing class 12 Board exams. He said the students should practice old question papers to achieve success in any competitive exam.
Deputy Director of State Employment Exchange Shashi Bhushan Jha advised students to choose a career field of their choice and not give in to pressure by peers or parents.
More than 500 students were present during the workshop. Motivator Chandreshwar Khan and other speakers were also present on this occasion.
