Jamshedpur, April 22: A painting contest titled ‘Paint Your Bag’ was organized to mark Earth Day at Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) auditorium in Sakchi on Friday. The objective behind the event was to spread awareness among the people on environmental issues, said the organizers.
The participants painted jute bags with innovative mix of colours, showcasing their creative talent and take on environment. A discussion on cleanliness and climate change was also held on this occasion.
The JNAC Special Officer said the paintings selected by judges would be put up on display through Canvas at an exhibition at the JNAC office.
