Jamshedpur: Earth Day was celebrated at Jusco School, Kadma, with enthusiasm on Monday. The students of class 6 to 12 participated in the event. Children presented a cultural programme which began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal Jhumjhumi Nandi. They also took out a bicycle rally to spread message on environment conservation. They carried placards with slogans like �Save trees, plant trees� and also held plants in their hands.
The participants of the event included Anandita Rai, Kavar Ali, Seema Tiwary, Rusi Kumari, Yogita Singh, Atri Banerjee, Akansha, Sharda and Sonia.
