Gamharia: Earth Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Gamharia English School on Wednesday. It was inaugurated by chief guest and school director Subrato Roy. He appealed to one and all to conserve water and keep the Earth green. He said growing human population and increased uses of plastics had ruined the environment to a great extent.
Various events like slogan competition and plantation were held to spread awareness on environment conservation.
