Jamshedpur, Nov. 19: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Staff Association Jamshedpur Unit hosted its central committee meeting on Saturday, November 19 near DVC Sub Station, Manifit (DVC TSC Campus).
The delegates from all over DVC Valley area (Jharkhand and West Bengal) participated in the meeting and discussed about various agendas including-Present Situation in DVC, Coming Trade Union Election, Issues related to employees financial demands like Pay Revision, Up gradation of selected Group C and D employees and Promotion Policy etc. The meeting was attended by RS Pandey from Bokaro, the working President.
Ashok Sarkar from Kolkata and Animesh Chatterjee from Putki, the vice-president.
Secretary Comred Tapas Kumar Kundu from Kolkata delivered the speech on pay revision, trade union election and new promotion policy. At the event blanket distributed were distributed among DVC casual employees.
