Jamshedpur : Dulal Bhuiya, the former Land Reforms and Revenue Minister of Jharkhand, has returned to JMM and will now contest from Jugsalai seat. Bhuiyan today met Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Ranchi and made it clear that he has returned back to JMM.
Sources informed that Hemant welcomed Bhuiyan to the JMM and has decided to field him from Jugsalai reserved assembly constituency in East Singhbhum.In 2009 assembly polls young face from AJSU Ramchandra Sahis defeated the former Land Reforms and Revenue Minister with a margin of 3482 votes.
Backed by tribal voters of Patamda Sahis received 42,810 while BJP candidate Rakhi Rai ended up with 39328 votes. Bhuiyan ended up third with 35,629 votes. Three-time MLA Dulal Bhuiyan had resigned from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) 2011, ending an association of 25 years with the party led by Shibu Soren.
Bhuiyan latter joined JVM. Meanwhile, JMM has now decided to insure better coordination in the party to gain better results in the next Assembly polls. ” We have taken lessons from Lok Sabha elections and do not want to repeat again. No doubt there was lack of coordination among the party leaders. But every thing is not lost we will work to bring back the lost glory.
At the same time we have to bury the differences and work together to win back the faith of the people,” said a leader of JMM. He said that the district unit is serious about the defeat and will work united for the next elections.
