Jamshedpur, Mar 13: Local divers helped in recovering the body of a class 11 student of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Shubham Kumar who drowned in the Citu pond in Tarcompany area on Friday evening.
The student a resident of Cable Town in Golmuri had gone with his friend Shyam Kumar for tuition and had sit near the pond when the slipper of Shubham Kumar fell in the pond and even as his friend shouted for help for other but nobody could bring him out as he had gone deep into the pond.
Since it was evening police could not arrange for rescue of the body and the body was fished out on Saturday morning.
