Jamshedpur, April 17: Vigilance has been tightened in Mango in preparation for the Ram Navami procession, with authorities employing drone surveillance to monitor potential obstacles along the route.
On Wednesday, police officials, led by DSP Bhola Prasad, conducted an inspection of the procession route from Mango’s Chepapul to Mango Chowk. Utilizing a drone, authorities assessed rooftops for any stored bricks or stones that could impede the procession.
The immersion procession for Ram Navami is scheduled to take place in Jamshedpur on Thursday, with one route passing through Mango. This procession will traverse New Purulia Road in Mango before reaching Mango Chowk and conclude at the Swarnrekha River Ghat.
To ensure a peaceful procession, barricades will be erected along New Purulia Road in Mango, and Magistrate and police personnel will be deployed at key locations including Daiguttu Bada Hanuman Temple, Badi Masjid Gandhi Maidan, and Munshi Mohalla Mosque on Dimna Road. These measures aim to facilitate the smooth conduct of the Ram Navami immersion procession while maintaining public safety and security.
