Jamshedpur, Jan 3: In an incident, 32-year-old Govind Prasad Soren was found dead in Sidhgora Baridih Basti on Thursday evening after apparently committing suicide by hanging. His body was discovered when his family became concerned after being unable to reach him on the phone.
Govind’s elder sister contacted his friend when she couldn’t get through to him. His friend went to his house and found the door locked from the inside. After knocking repeatedly with no response, the door was forced open with the help of neighbours. Govind was found hanging from a noose in his room. He was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Govind, a driver at Manipal Hospital, leaves behind his wife, two sisters, and two children. His family has expressed deep shock over his death, as no apparent signs of distress had been reported. The police have taken the body for post-mortem examination, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the suicide.
The reasons behind Govind’s tragic decision remain unclear, and the family and friends are left grappling with his sudden and unexpected death. The police are continuing to investigate the matter to uncover more details.
