Jamshedpur: An anti-illegal parking drive was conducted in Jamshedpur as part of ongoing efforts to make the city congestion-free. The drive, led by Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Dhalbhum, Shatabdi Mazumdar, targeted no-parking zones near Sakchi Collectorate Roundabout, Bistupur Main Road, and Gopal Maidan.
The enforcement team, including Executive Magistrate Chandrajit Singh and MVI Suraj Hembram, deflated tires of illegally parked vehicles and imposed fines on violators.
The SDO appealed to the public to act responsibly by avoiding parking in no-parking zones, emphasizing that traffic congestion affects everyone, including emergency services. Citizens were urged to cooperate with the administration in keeping the city free of traffic jams. The drive will continue, with penalties imposed on violators.
