Jamshedpur, June 18: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) continued crackdown against illegally constructed buildings in various localities of the city here on Saturday. The electricity and water connections of several buildings in Ramdas Bhatta Old Area Bistupur, B Block, Dhatkidih and Ranikuder were discontinued due to alleged violation of building norms by their owners.
JNAC officials said the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum had given instructions to take stringent action against those constructing buildings without getting building plan approval from the JNAC.
