Jamshedpur, Jan 20: Dr. G. Baiju, Director of ICAR/CTCRI, Government of India, was warmly welcomed at Tatanagar Railway Station upon his arrival by the Vande Bharat train. Dr. Baiju is in Jamshedpur to participate in a state-level seminar focused on “Advanced Agricultural Technology for Women Farmer Empowerment.”
The welcoming party included Dr. Amresh Mahato, Managing Director of Aati Puaal Mushroom Private Limited, Uttam Chakraborty, President of Deen Bandhu Trust and Nagendra Kumar, General Secretary of the Trust. The group presented Dr. Baiju with a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of hospitality.
In attendance at the welcome event were several prominent figures, including Sunita Poyda, Ruby Gorai, Shashikant, Priyanka, Radha, Asha, Poonam, Sahil Tandi and many others. Dr. Baiju is set to participate in the one-day seminar on Tuesday in Purulia, which aims to address the role of advanced agricultural technology in empowering women farmers.
The seminar is expected to bring together experts and stakeholders in agriculture to discuss and share insights on cutting-edge technologies that can enhance the productivity and sustainability of women-led farming initiatives.
