Jamshedpur, July 7: A dental checkup and awareness camp was organized at ADLS Sunshine School on Tuesday.
A team of Dental Surgeons, headed by the President of Indian Dental Association Dr. Eric Lew, carried out a comprehensive dental checkup on students of Nursery, LKG & UKG.
The team of doctors included Dr. S. Soni, Dr. Kavini (Senior Child Specialist) Dr. Preeti, Dr. Pooja, Dr. Peter Lew, Dr. Pankaj, Dr. Anand, Dr. Kunal Verma.
The health checkup aimed at identifying common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum disease. �With the growing fashion of junk food and irregular eating patterns, the chances of tooth decay has increased�, said Dr. Lew. Oral care is a key component of health care.
A health checkup card is maintained for each student in Primary section. The dental staff was overwhelmed to see the young children getting into an early check-up routine.
The Principal, Mrs. Indrani Singh, thanked the team of Doctors for rendering moral and selfless service to the School.
