Dr. Ajoy Kumar promises improved civic amenities and employment opportunities in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Congress Party candidate for East Jamshedpur, Dr. Ajoy Kumar, engaged with residents during a public relations campaign in Birsanagar Zone No. 5 and 6, as well as Baridih Basti, on Friday. During his visit, he listened to the community’s concerns regarding a lack of civic amenities, which they claimed had seen little improvement over the last five years.

Residents voiced their frustrations about inadequate road conditions and the state of drains, emphasizing that these issues have led to significant hardships. The most pressing concern highlighted was the quality of drinking water. According to locals, the water supplied from the Moharda Water Supply Scheme is not potable, prompting calls for Dr. Ajoy Kumar to liaise with officials to address this critical issue.

Addressing the crowd, Dr. Ajoy Kumar stated, “People are deprived of basic civic amenities, which is their right. For over 25 years under the BJP and Saryu Roy, residents have been forced to endure a hellish existence. This will change. If I receive public support, my priority will be to ensure world-class civic amenities, along with better education, healthcare, and employment opportunities.”
