Jamshedpur: Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar expressed heartfelt thanks to the people of Jamshedpur East on Wednesday for the overwhelming support and affection they have shown. He stated, “I am indebted to the people of Jamshedpur for the trust they have placed in me. I assure you that I will make every possible effort to meet the aspirations and hopes of Jamshedpur’s citizens and restore the city’s honor.”

Dr. Ajoy also expressed gratitude to the district administration for ensuring a peaceful election and thanked the media for their support, noting that they made the election process lively and engaging with their impartial coverage. He specially thanked thousands of party workers and officials for their dedication and selfless service during the campaign, acknowledging that their efforts made the campaign successful.
During his visits to polling stations, Dr. Ajoy was warmly welcomed by voters. Many young people took selfies with him, and women voters wished him success. At the Sitaramdera polling station, an elderly woman told Dr. Ajoy, “I voted for you, and your victory is certain.” The general sentiment among voters in Jamshedpur East appeared to favor Dr. Ajoy Kumar. Though many refrained from openly expressing their opinions, their emotions reflected discontent with the 25 years of mismanagement.
Offers prayers at a temple
Dr. Ajoy Kumar, accompanied by his wife Reena Arya, began the day by offering prayers at the Hanuman Temple in Golmuri. Following this, they cast their votes at Booth No. 148 in Telco’s Shiksha Niketan School. After voting, Dr. Ajoy encouraged the people of Jamshedpur to strengthen democracy by casting their votes before enjoying refreshments.
He then toured several areas, including Birsanagar, Baridih Basti, Bagunnagar, Bagunhatu, Sitaramdera, Agrico, Bhuiyandih, Kashidih, Golmuri, Gwalam Basti, Jemco, Manifit, Laxminagar, Premnagar, and Burmamines. During his visits, he monitored the voting process and encouraged his party workers.
