Jamshedpur: Senior Congress leader Dr. Ajoy Kumar extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Hemant Soren on his swearing-in as the Chief Minister for the fourth time.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ajoy expressed confidence in the leadership of Hemant Soren and the INDIA alliance government, asserting that it would fulfill the aspirations and expectations of Jharkhand’s 3.5 crore people. He emphasized that this government is committed to the holistic development of the state, particularly focusing on the welfare of the poor, women, and youth. He added that the government will soon work towards implementing welfare schemes on the ground to bring tangible benefits to the people.
Dr. Ajoy also mentioned the upcoming expansion of the state cabinet, which will further strengthen governance. He lauded the people of Jharkhand for supporting the INDIA alliance and for rejecting communal forces during the elections. Highlighting the divisive rhetoric used by BJP leaders during the campaign, he termed it “shameful and condemnable,” while criticizing the Election Commission for its inaction.
“Despite all odds, the people of Jharkhand have given a befitting response to such forces, showcasing the strength of democracy,” Dr. Ajoy remarked. He expressed optimism that the Soren-led government will lead the state towards progress and inclusivity.
