Dr Ajay files nomination, seeks divine blessing, meets people

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha candidate Dr Ajay Kumar filed his nomination for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha Parliamentary election on Friday. He filed his nomination around 12.30 pm at the office of the deputy commissioner-cum-district returning officer.

The JVM leader filed his nomination in four sets. He was accompanied by his proposers comprising Dr Dinesh Sarangi, Abhay Singh, Dulal Bhuiyan, Sanatan Manjhi and Sudhir Kumar Pappu.

As per the details of property as deposed in his nomination form by Dr Ajay, he has a total wealth worth Rs 6.56 crore. His wife has a property worth Rs 67.62 lakh while his son Shantanu has Rs 35,949. In the financial year 2012-13, Dr Ajay filed an Income Tax return of Rs 1.87 crore. His wife submitted a tax return of Rs 17 lakh for the same period.

Before leaving for the DC office, the JVM leader performed worship at his residence and thereafter went to Sai Mandir in Circuit House Area and later went to Shitla Mandir at Sakchi. He also went to a number of other religious places including Dhatkidih Masjid, Bistupur Gurudwara, Beldih Church, Beldih Kali Bari, Chuna Shah Baba�s Mazaar and Kadma Jaher Sthal.

Finally, the sitting MP of Jamshedpur went to Aam Bagan, Sakchi, and addressed party workers. He also asked party workers to maintain peace and discipline and keep away from the venue of filing of nomination for the Lok Sabha election.
