Seraikela: The director of health, Jharkhand, visited Seraikela-Kharsawan on Sunday. A meeting of doctors was held on his arrival at the community building in Seraikela.
The director listened to the doctors who put forth their grievances related to the lack of facilities in the government hospitals.
The local doctors complained that many expensive equipments were gathering dust in want of adequate manpower strength.
They demanded that the vacancies should be filled up soon through new appointments. The doctors observed silence for two minutes to pay tributes to two doctors who passed away recently.
A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Jujharu Manjhi. Among those present on the occasion included Dr AP Sinha, Dr KK Sehgal, Dr Variel Mardi, Dr Varvar and Dr Pradip.
