Jamshedpur: District Legal Service Authority, Jamshedpur, organized a legal awareness camp at Sidho Kanhu Shiksha Niketan High School situated on the National Highway 33 near Dimna here on Friday. The chief guest of the programme was senior advocate cum mediator Vimal Kumar Pandey.
Pandey informed students about various laws, fundamental rights and duties, Right to Education, law related to domestic violence, child rights, human rights, rights of Adivasis, child marriage and various government schemes being run by the Central government.
Among others present on the occasion included advocate Rupesh Kumar Sinha, para legal volunteer Nagendra Kumar, Usha Kumari, Nitai Chandra Gorai and SK Gorai, principal of the school.
