Jamshedpur, May 3: Dayanand Public School (DPS) held its annual Annual Prize Nite in the school premises on Monday, May 1. Adarsh Agarwal, managing director, Jamipol was the chief guest for the evening.
As per the tradition of the school the program started with Gayatri Mantra.
The chief guest in his speech emphasized on the change in the educational pattern and need for parent’s involvement.
The Principal Swarna Mishra presented the school report and achievement of the school during the year 2016-17.
This was followed by a cultural program on “Five Elements of Life’ depicted how the human life is made up of five elements air, water, fire, earth and space. The principal award in the junior category went to Divyansh Kumar while Roshan Srivastav bagged the principal award in the senior category.
Soumya Sinha of class XII received the award for the most consistence performance over the year. The management trustees of Jamshedpur Arya Samaj Dr. R. N. Sharma (Chairman), Prem Sagar, Prem Sehgal, Rajendra Sachdev, K.K. Mangal, Devender Chatrath, Rajiv Talwar teachers and staff of Dayanand Public School and other dignitaries were present during the program.
